Magdalena broke up in the summer of 2005. Jess and Michael felt it was nessecary and time to move on. Andrew and Mallory continue to play music with eachother and will soon form a new band, so be on the look out. |

Hey Everyone,
We are on the search for a new singer. Not only do we plan to change our line up a bit, but we plan to change up our music as well. We are planning to incorporate a little bit of everything... [indie, rock-n-roll, synth, etc.] into our hardcore sound. Therefore, we need a singer who can do a little bit of everything. We need someone who will take this seriously. We, as musicians, don't want to sell out or make huge money, we just want to tour & make a respectable living out of playing music, for people who will appriciate it. Here are just some of the things we are looking for:
- male singer
- age 17-22
- good writer, who will write meaningful lyrics
- good optimistic attitude
- different influences [classic rock, indie, hardcore, goth rock, new wave, etc.]
- attitude/image
- good singing voice with various ranges
- good screams (mid, low, highs)
- (energetic) good stage presence and can really get the crowd going.
- good personality
- someone who wants to play meaningful music

| A breif update on our new music status. |

Hey everyone! We are in the process of having our own home recording studio built. Hopefully it will be done by July...or August. lol. Anyway we already have one of the mixers and we're ordering another one. Once the studio is built and we get all of our equipment in, we are planning to record a live demo. This is the demo that we're palnning to send out to various independent record labels. This demo will also be for sale. Right now we have four songs written and rough versions of them recorded. We are still in the process of writing more. Once we have everything recorded and done, we'll post our music here on myspace and purevolume where you can download our music for free. lol. We don't mind though, just as long as you guys pass it to your friends. lol. Or if you want to be nice you can buy our c.d. lol. Anyway, we haven't updated anything in along time, so this was just a brief update for anyone who's interested. lol. Well so long folks... for now |

Hey everyone, last year we played a show called "The Zero Show", and the turn out was great, everything went fine and people really enjoyed it, so they decided to make it an annual show. This year the show will take place on saturday January 15th (in Brawley), the location has changed and the line up is mixed genres as well. Last year all the bands were punk except for us! but this year they decided to change things up. we were invited back to play again and they told us we can invite a couple of bands to play, we might have one in mind already but we still need one more, so if you think your band might wanna fill the spot, then e mail us at: Magdalenarock@yahoo.com, with some info about your band and if u have a website or are on some type of music site(purevolume, my space,hxc, etc..) then add the link as well.

We wanna thank everyone who showed up to the studio z show and stayed, we also want to apologize because the show started at eight and not six like planned. The bands did great all though the crowd was small...hopefully future shows will be better.
We wrote a new song, so hopefully we can record it soon and put it up on purevolume. We have designs for stickers and plans to hopefully get some made but in order to make stickers we need money, so if anyone wants to help us out and buy a demo cd that would be awesome and it would help us out alot. If it were up to us we would just pass them out for free but sadly nothing these days is free, so in order for us to get some merch made we need money. None of the money made goes to our pockets, it goes straight to band needs. We would appreciate it alot.

Hey everyone, sometime in December or January we plan to go on a very small "mini-tour" with Drastic and Darko, so Ed (Darko) planned a show at Studio Z so that we can raise some money to help pay for the tour... and we(including Darko and Drastic) would really appreciate it if everyone can do there best to make it out to that show. Hey everyone, we have a show to add...we were recently invited to play the show at the calexico skate park for arkive fabrix..the general info. is on the shows page, but for more info. visit http://www.arkivefabix.com ... This will probably be our last show for a few months because we are currently in the writing process and we are trying to create a new set list...so sadly i doubt we will be playing lulu fest and any other shows we had lined up but when we do start playing shows again we should have a new and improved set list... well folks thats all for now... |

Hey everyone, sadly Battle of the Bands has been cancelled, but Lulu fest is still going on. They have decided to make LuLu fest a Halloween Party/Show so it should be fun and its free!!! Costume is optional but preferred... Flyers will be made soon, so look around the valley for those and they'll have the for sure line up of bands playing as well...for more info. Hello everyone, I just got word of two upcoming shows. We're playin LuluFest again and that show will be in Brawley on October 30th. The other show is the Zero Show and we played that show last year and it was pretty damn cool so were definately playng there again and that show will also take place in Brawley sometime in January. I'll post the dates as soon as I find out the for sure date. As soon as I get more info I'll post it on the shows page ...so check back there as well as here in a few days.

Hey everyone, today our "art consultant" and i finished our cd cover for our 2nd demo. Its really awesome and im pretty excited to get the cd out. Studio Z will be the day we "release" it, lol, i guess you can say. We will be passing them out for free over there after that they will probably be a dollar. we wouldnt charge but sadly nothing is free these days and we would like new things for the band. So the money is not going in any of our pockets, its going straight to stuff we need like merch, equipment, etc... so if you would like to help us out and buy one (that would be awesome!)then search around for one of us we'll have them for a couple of months and we'll be selling them on this website as well. i must be off now but dont forget to go to the STUDIO Z SHOW its gonna be badass.

| Our weekend & updates |

Hello everyone! saturdays practice was really good. The darko boys showed up along with jeremy z. from drastic and some of their other freinds came as well. They all seemed to be pleased with what they heard that night, so that was awesome. We all talked about the show at STUDIO Z which is still going on. everyone seems to be really excited about it (we definately are). To anyone thats gonna go...its gonna be a good show, we'll be giving out demos, ive heard that arkive fabrix was gonna be there and lots of other stuff as well, but on top of all that theres gonna be a good amount of extremely talented bands. So if you can make it, then go. well i think i've written enough for now! but keep checking back for more updates and all that good stuff...

Today we were asked to play a show at STUDIO Z. the show is on Thursday september 23. I know it might be complicated for some people to go because its a school night but it would be awesome for people to try and make it out there because all the bands that are playing would appreciate the support (and we need to have a 100 people show up too). The show starts at 6 30 pm. there is a $5 dollar cover charge and the Bands include: Drastic, Darko, J.d Romance, Stillborn and more. |

Hey pals and gals, im just here to update the news and all that good stuff. Well were working on a new song, its different from the stuff were doing now but were doing our best to make sure it sounds good, so hopefully people will like it once were done with it. We have a show the 11th in Brawley, its a going away party, thats pretty much all i know. Hopefully this weekend Andrew can finish recording his vocals on "One To Bleed" so i can put it up on purevolume, when he does his vocals for "Morbid" and the guys finish up their guitar parts, we will release another demo and probably sell it for a buck so we can get money to make shirts and get other things need for the band. So keep checking back here for that stuff. Speaking of demos im thinking about giving a few of our old ones out for FREE! Well i think thats enough "news" for today, just keep checking back here for more updates.
